Paraffin Therapy
Warm paraffin wax soothes stiff hands, feet, and joints.
Typical session: 15–30 min
Known for adapting to any surface, paraffin is used to treat different ailments by transferring heat to the injured area, with a vasodilator and analgesic effect. Paraffin has tremendous thermal capacity — it absorbs and retains large amounts of heat, and in its liquid state becomes a reserve of warmth. During the treatment that heat is transferred to the skin, stimulating its natural processes of self-hydration and detoxification.
