Infrared Light Therapy
Warming infrared light to relax muscles and support recovery.
Typical session: 15–30 min
Infrared therapy is used in Physical Therapy to take advantage of the physiological effects of surface heat on human tissue, and to treat a variety of health conditions. The effects come through the absorption and penetration of infrared rays, relaxing muscles, improving circulation and creating a deeply soothing complement to hands-on massage.
